How does the IC³ programme work?

The IC3 programme consists of three online courses, practice tests and certification exams. 

You and your team can learn everything needed to gain IC3 certification by completing our online, self-paced courses, which involve around 40 hours of learning. 

The courses are completed at the learner’s pace, at any time that suits your organisation, on any computer with an Internet connection. Each course includes videos and practical exercises to help consolidate what is learned, as well as plenty of opportunities to check knowledge and progress.

Even though the courses are completed online, everyone on your team will also have their own instructor, who will provide as much help and encouragement as needed by phone and/or email throughout the programme. Optional lab sessions may be scheduled (at a minimal cost) for those who would like extra help.

As each of your team is ready, they can complete the IC3 practice tests and certification exams at a Positive Connexions Learning Centre, or possibly onsite at your premises if suitable.


What about existing computer skills?

Some on your team may already have the skills and knowledge needed for certification. We can provide a detailed breakdown of exactly what is covered in the course to help make the initial assessment. Practice tests may be completed to check knowledge, or some may be ready to sit the certification exams right away. We’ll help tailor the right solution for your organisation.

Learning Needs Analysis - $26.09 (ex. GST)

Not sure what computer skills your team has? 

For those on your team who already have some computer skills, IC³ practice tests provide an opportunity to check readiness for the certification exams.  Practice tests are completed onsite at your premises, in the same online environment in which the actual exams are taken.  The results of the practice tests will help decide whether your team member should enrol on the IC³ course or is ready to go straight to the certification exams. The package includes 3 x IC³ practice tests.

IC³ Certification Exam Package - $139.13 (ex. GST)

This package is available for team members who are ready for certification without completing the course (and may or may not have completed a learning needs analysis, as outlined above). 

IC³ certification consists of passing 3 x 45 minute online (web-based) exams at a Positive Connexions Learning Centre (or at your premises if appropriate).  The package includes 3 x IC³ certification exams.
